President Trump launched a new attack on President Ukraine Voludmir Zelinsky, describing him as a “dictator” and saying that he had “a terrible job.”
His last Salvo came after Zelinski, and he responded to the United States talks in Russia in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was excluded from Kiev, that the American president was “living in misleading information” governed by Moscow.
“Zelensky moves better quickly or will not remain a country,” Trump wrote in a position on the social truth.
Soon the “dictator” of Sloor was criticized by European leaders, including German Chancellor Olaf Schools, who said, “It is simply and risk deprived of President Zelinski of his democratic legitimacy.”
German Foreign Secretary, Analeina Perbuk, described the “absurd” comments.
“If you look at the real world instead of just launching a tweet, you know who should live in Europe in dictatorship conditions: people in Russia, people in Belarus.”
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson also criticized the use of Trump for the word “dictator”, saying that Zelinski had been democratically elected, comments echoed by the UK opposition leader Kimi Badenosh.
Zelinski’s position was scheduled for five years in May 2024. However, Ukraine has been under martial law since Russia launched a large scale in February 2022 and suspended elections.
A White House official said Trump’s latest post was in a direct response to Zelinski’s “misinformation”.
Trump wrote: “I love Ukraine, but Zelinski did a terrible job, and his country was broken, and millions died unnecessarily.” Meanwhile, the United States was “successfully negotiating the end of the war with Russia.”
The former Ukraine Prime Minister told Arsini Yatsenyuk, the BBC that Russia “has now appeared champagne” in response to Trump’s comments.
“Volodymyr Zelensky is a completely legal president,” he said. “We cannot hold elections according to customary rulings.”
The war of words began with Trump’s comments on Tuesday at a press conference in Mar Lago, Florida, when it was Blame Ukraine for the war.
Trump was asked by BBC News about his message that was on the Ukrainians who might feel betrayal.
“You never started. You could have a deal,” Trump added.
Trump did not mention that President Vladimir Putin made the decision to invade Ukraine in February 2022.
Then, on Wednesday, Zelinski told Kiev’s correspondents: “We see a lot of misleading information and comes from Russia. With all the due respect for President Donald Trump as a leader … he lives in this field of misleading,” then Zelinski told Kiev.
He added that he believed that “the United States helped Putin out of years of isolation.”
Zelinski also rejected Trump’s attempts to reach rare minerals in Ukraine, saying that no security guarantees have been provided in return.
Trump tried to raise a case of Zelinski’s popularity, claiming that Ukrainian President had only 4 % approval. But the BBC verifies the reports that the polling that was conducted this month has been 57 % of the Ukrainians said they trust the president.
In the social function of the explosive truth on Wednesday, Trump also targeted Europe, saying that the war in Ukraine is “much more important for Europe than it is for us.”
“We have a great and beautiful circumference as a separation,” he said.
He added that Europe “failed to bring peace” in the region.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with the correspondents, saying that he would meet Trump “with pleasure.”
For its part, the European Union said it would put other sanctions on Russia.
New sanctions target Russian aluminum and dozens of ships suspected of illegally transporting oil. They will also cut more Russian banks about the rapid global payment system and ban more Russian media outlets in Europe.
