Accra, Ghana – Three Chinese citizens suspected that they are kidnapped from the Gan coast are certain, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Monday, without giving details.
The Ghanaian authorities said Saturday, they researched the “suspected pirate attack” on a fishing vessel in Ganain who left three Chinese crew members.
The Armed Forces of Ghana said that on Thursday night “Reports stated that the seven armed individuals boarded the vessel and fire the warning guns, encouraged several crew members to seek coverage in the safe area.”
Armed forces were said that “pirates” remained on a ship for about three hours after the compilation of everyone on deck and seized their phones. After the armed individuals left the ship, the crew revealed missing members.
It was said that Mengxin 1 vessels are now connected.
Piracy is not unusually in Guinea Bay outside West Africa.
Over the years, the Chinese flown by the Gan flags on their vessels to fish in gan waters, towards guardians.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said journalists that all crew members are safe.
“China will continue working with Ghan to effectively protect the security of Chinese citizens and institutions in Ghana,” said the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Guo Jiakun.
