City Hall: The momentary protesters are the Columbia University Library.

The New York Police arrested dozens of professional Palestinian protesters after winning part of the main library of the University of Colombia on Wednesday.

According to the president’s statement, the two university sheriffs were injured when the protesters entered the Butler Library on Wednesday, according to the university president’s statement.

The video posted on social media showed the protesters in the library singing, and many people ignored the Trump administration’s ban on Keffiyeh Headscarves and Masks.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the visa status of related people will be considered.

More than 70 protesters were reportedly arrested. No one has been prosecuted yet, and the authorities have not provided details about who are held and in the United States.

The protesters said in their position on social media that they accused the “violent oppression” to the university and refused to show their ID to the police and public safety managers.

Rubio described the group as “invaders and damage.” “Pro-hamas thugs are no longer welcome in our great country,” he added.

Trump’s team withdraws hundreds of international student visas and threatened to deport, but also aimed at American universities such as Columbia, as well as a prominent individual, and accused the campus that they could not fight anti -Semitism on campus.

The video about the latest behavior of the famous New York institution showed that protesters destroyed the bookshelf by writing “Free Palestine.”

Another clip led the public safety officer to block the exit of the library and to see the people inside the Columbia ID or face arrest.

Claire Shipman, Columbia, asked for help from the New York Police Agency (NYPD) on Wednesday, and added that many protesters involved in the latest behavior were not students.

The police confirmed in the post of X, saying, “We are responding to the situation in which the individual occupies and invades the library at a direct request from Columbia University.”

SHIPMAN said that the protest was isolated as a room in the library, but “when students study and prepare for the final exam, it is not completely unacceptable for some individuals to hinder their academic activities.”

Columbia, who played the role in March after his predecessor resigned, asked students to get away from the library.

“We will not tolerate hate or violence in any form of our city,” said Eric Adams, Mayor of New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

This is the first time Columbia University has called NYPD for protests in the campus after the protesters occupied Hamilton Hall for almost 24 hours in April 2024.

The crowd of the protesters grew up as a stand off with security, and the group called “Columbia University Apartheid Dest” continued in the evening.

Columbia has brought special anger in Trump and insisted that many universities have tolerated anti -Semitism and harassment of Jewish students.

The president has already threatened to withhold about $ 400 million (30 million pounds) as a federal fund for Columbia.

In March, Columbia agreed to the Trump administration’s needs, including the Trump administration, including the prohibition of face masks and the supervision of some academic programs.

Some faculty members filed a lawsuit through cuts, but it is not clear whether the funds will be restored.

Columbia was the epicenter of protest against the US support for the Gaza War and Israel last year. But what the US government aims is not the only organization.

The administration warned 60 universities that funds could be canceled if anti -Semitism was not resolved.

On Tuesday, Trump ordered a $ 2.2 billion taxpayer fund to Harvard University after ordering a review of federal finance. The university refused to meet Trump’s demands.
