Moscow and region hit by ‘massive’ drone attack

Local officials said at least one person was killed and three injuries due to the “large” drone attack on Moscow and the capital.

Andrei Vorobyev Governor said that the casualties are in the villages of Vidnoy and Domodedovo, just outside the capital. Seven apartments in a residential building have been damaged.

Sergei Sobyanin Moscow said that 73 drones were shot down to the city. The roof of a building was damaged by drone debris.

A global train network is now stopped and a flight restriction has been raised at Moscow Airport after the attack. It is one of the biggest things since Russia started the tank invasion in Ukraine in February 2022.

The attack comes out a few hours ahead US representative in Saudi Arabia and Crunch of Ukraine, It focused on the war between Russia and Ukraine.

In posts about social media, Governor Vorobyev introduced a photo showing one of the damaged apartments and a car that looks like a parking lot in the Moscow region.

He said 12 people, including three children, should be evacuated from the damaged apartment after the strike overnight.

Moscow’s Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports were charged a flight restriction on major traffic hubs used by millions of passengers every year.

The Russian Defense Ministry later reported that 3377777 Ukrainian drones were intercepted or destroyed overnight in Moscow and nine Russian regions.

Ukraine did not mention this problem.

Ukrainian officials have reported a Russian drone attack on the capital, KYIV, and other regions over the night.

It was not immediately clear whether there was a casualty.
