Cardiff City released Omer Riza and installed Aaron Ramsey as a temporary main coach by the end of the season.
Cardiff is the second bottom in the championship, which is a safety point after losing 2-0 at Sheffield United on Friday.
Riza handed over the job in early December after an impressive stay as a temporary boss after Erol Bulut was discharged in September.
However, he was rejected after one victory in the last nine championship games.
“We would like to thank Omer for his passion and effort during his time manager Cardiff City and wish him all the best for his next steps in the game,” read a statement at the club.
The legend of Wales Ramsey, 34, is limited to only eight championship appearances due to injury, but now he will strive to inspire his boyish club to survive throughout his last three knots.
