Callum Simpson vs Hamzah Sheeraz? ‘Let’s find out who is the best in Britain in a huge showdown’

Hamzah Sheerazz should fight Callum Simpson next, suggests promoter Ben Shala.

Sheeraz arrived in the fight against WBC’s middle title with Carlos Adames, who ended up in the draw, although Sheeraz approached the loss of his undefeated record.

High medium weight, Sheeraz could consider movement towards the division, and Ben Shalom, who promotes Simpson, thinks it should look like the boxes of the British champion in a super-medium category.

“I think that’s what I hear, to move up and say it is, then it should be a fight. It’s a fight that I believe fans want to see,” Shalu said Sky Sports.

“For me (they would be) the two biggest names in Britain in a super-row category. Hamzah I don’t think he won’t be pleased with his last performance, it’s probably not at that level yet.”

Shalom called: “Let’s find out who is the best in Britain in a huge, huge showdown. I think Hamzah will believe that he can beat Callum Simpson. You should be the next big deal, a great star. Come and prove it and (try) win the best in Britain, which is Callum Simpson.

Simpson is expected to fight the Oakwell Stadium next in his hometown of Barnsley, and Shalom noted: “It would be great to see it against Hamzah Sheeraz. It should be a kind of struggle that I think Hamzah will want.

“Hamzah believes that the world level is, so go and beat the British champion. Callum Simpson was a phenomenal success story for us, inside and outside the ring, a big ticket salesman, a big name.

“(In the end) I don’t see why that fight should not happen.”
