At least four people died and two people died after exploding in the mine in northern Spain, officials said.
The explosion occurred in the Credo mine in Degaña, Asuria, and in the northwest of Madrid, northwest of Madrid in the local time (08:30 BST).
Regional emergency services have been called for the “machine problem” of mine.
The other three were injured and searched for missing workers. Ambulance, fire and rescue services have been sent to the field.
The Mining Rescue Brigade also placed a fang device.
The injured was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez condemned the victims’ families.
