A man from South Carolina, who is convicted of parents, has become his ex -girlfriend to death, the first prisoner of time in the United States to be executed by the fire division in the past fifteen years.
Brad Sigmoun was shot until 18:00 local time (at 23:00 GMT) on Friday by three volunteers of the state’s reform Ministry who shoot his chest with specially designed bullets.
Sigmoun, 67, was convicted of the killing of David and Galidis Lark at Bastoul’s Presse in 2001 before his ex -girlfriend was kidnapped at gunpoint. She managed to escape shooting her.
He had requested death by shooting two other methods accredited by the state: the electric chair and the deadly injection.
Chryste Shen, from the Ministry of Reform in South Carolina, said that Segon announced his death by the doctor at 18:08 local time.
She said that three members of the Lark family came to watch his death, as well as the Sigon spiritual counselor.
Witnesses said that Segon was attached to a chair, who had a basin underneath to pick up blood.
The witnesses told that he wanted his final statement “to be a love and an invitation to my Christian colleagues to help us end the death penalty.”
“An eye has been used as a justification for the jury to search for the death penalty,” he added.
“At that time, I was very ignorant of knowing how wrong it is. Why? Because we no longer live under the Old Testament law but we now live under the New Testament.”
After his final statement, put a cover on his head.
The curtain that hid three volunteers opened at 18:01. At 18:05, the trio was launched from 15 feet (4.6 meters) without any number.
Jeffrey Collins, a Associated Press reporter, told a news conference that Segon had Red Polsi’s goal, who set his heart.
The correspondent added that when he was shot, his chest rose and fell several times.
A test doctor took about 90 seconds, before announcing dead at 18:08.
Bullets Winchester Tap URBAN is designed. Medical experts discussed the amount of pain that might cause them.
Anna Dobins, a WHF-TV correspondent, added that SigMon wears a black leap suit, but had nude arms “bending” when he was shot.
“I saw a blood splash when the bullets entered his body,” she said at the press conference.
She said that all shots were launched simultaneously, and that witnesses were unable to see weapons.
Prison guards also offered witnesses to the earplies of earplugs to protect their ears from the sound of the shots, and added a reporter to the Post and Course.
Shane said that the consulting services are provided to any prison staff who were shocked by death.

Sigmon’s lawyer, Bo King, was hoping for the last minute residency to death by the governor of South Carolina and accused the state of blocking information about the deadly injection.
He said in a statement after his death: “Brad only wanted assurances that these drugs did not end from the end of their validity, mitigation or spoiler – what does any of us want to know about the medicine we eat, or the food we eat, and much less than the means of our death.”
“It is incomprehensible that in 2025, South Carolina will implement one of her citizens in this bloody scene.”
The king said that his client was suffering from mental illness, and that the friendships he formed in prison are evidence of his rehabilitation.
“Brad is a person, for another meal, he asked to get three buckets from the original recipe from fried chicken,” said to Wyff-TV earlier on Friday.
He later said, he later told the correspondents that the request for participation had been denied “with his last meal, he wanted to share something special with them.”
The officials later confirmed that his last meal was four pieces of fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes with broth, biscuits, cheese tea and sweet tea. The meal was presented on Wednesday evening.
Since 1977, only three people have died due to the shooting, and the three were in Utah. The last case was Rooney Lee Gardner in 2010.
Before the execution of SigMon, the death penalty kick held a gathering outside the prison in Colombia.
They carried signs that say “All life is precious” and “You are not killing.”
The state allows witnesses to monitor death from behind bullet -resistant glass, but the executioner is hiding from view to protect their identities.
South Carolina passed a law in 2023, which requires the identities of the death team members secret.
