The Nigerian lawmakers were suspended as a member of the Senate for a period of six months, that is, a day after the petition was offered to be subjected to sexual harassment by the Senate Speaker.
Last Friday, Natasha Akboti-Odwajan took charges against a country of major politicians, Godswill Akpabio.
After refusing her to seek the procedural foundations, the Ethics Committee recommended the comment of Uduaghan, saying that it brought mockery to the room.
Some of the Senators argued that its suspension is reduced to three months, but the majority voted to adhere to the comment for a period of six months recommended by the Ethics Committee.
Nearly a week since the Uduaghan interview with Arise TV, which was charged for the first time, the case dominated discussions throughout Nigeria.
Many people and groups that are placed greatly have called for a transparent investigation.
On Wednesday, two groups of demonstrators gathered in the land of the association in the capital, Abuja – one of whom supports Akpabio and the other to support his colleague, chanting “Akpabio must go.”
