BBC finds huge devastation and little help for survivors in Mandalay

Driving to Mandalay revealed a huge destruction of the earthquake last Friday.

When we changed, especially in almost all streets, especially in the north and central areas of the city, at least one building collapsed and reduced it into a pile of debris. Some streets have several structures.

Nan Sin Hein, who is waiting outside the collapsed building where his son is trapped, was initially dull, but now he seems to be preparing to face the most likely results.

“I’m a heart. My son loved me and his sisters. He struggled to support us,” she says.

“I want to see my son’s face even if my son dies. I want to see his body. I want them to do their best to find his body.”
