Five men are trapped under this building, including NAN’s 21 -year -old son.

Warning: This article includes details and images that some readers can worry about.

Driving to Mandalay revealed a huge destruction of the earthquake last Friday.

When we changed, especially in almost all streets, especially in the north and central areas of the city, at least one building collapsed and reduced it into a pile of debris. Some streets have several structures.

Almost all the buildings we saw were cracked through at least one wall, and it was not safe to enter. In major urban hospitals, they must treat patients outdoors.

Myanmar’s military government said that foreign journalists did not allow foreign journalists to enter this country after the earthquake. So we went secretly. We had to operate carefully because we entrusted the genealogy with the information sources and the secret police who watched the people for the ruling military Junta.

What we witnessed was the people who had little help in this huge disaster.

41 -year -old Nan Sin Hein said, “I hope he will be alive.

Her 21-year-old-Son Sai Han Pha was a construction worker, renovated the interior of the building, a hotel and a office space.

Nan Sin Hein’s 21 -year -old son was still missing inside a five -story building.

“If they can rescue him today, he is likely to survive,” she says.

When the 7.7 earthquake bumped, the floor of the building sank on the ground, the top was hidden at the angle of the street, and it seemed to be able to give a tip at some point.

Sai Han Pha and four other workers were trapped inside.

When we visited, the rescue effort did not begin in the building and there was no sign of starting soon. There is no enough help to use on the ground, because of the political situation of the country.

Watch: Yogita Limaye of the BBC is the first foreign journalist to enter Myanmar after the earthquake.

Myanmar was confused even before the earthquake occurred. The army has continued to operate for armed rebellion, despite disasters.

This means that the security forces are so extended that they cannot be behind relief and rescue operations. Except for some of the main locations, we did not see many numbers in Mandalay.

Military JUNTA expressed rare appeals for international aid, but anxiety with many foreign countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States, promised aid, but the help of the manpower on the ground was only in countries such as India, China and Russia.

And so far, these rescue efforts seem to focus on the structure of being trapped with the U HLA the Buddhist Academy, where hundreds of people are home to the high -rise Sky Villa condominium complex and the earthquake.

Neeraj Singh, who is leading the Indian disaster response team working at the Buddhist Academy, said the structure has fallen like a “pancake.”

“This is the most difficult collapse pattern and is very unlikely to find a survivor, but we are still hopeful and do our best,” the BBC said.

The rescue target faces difficult conditions to recover the victim’s body, and the temperature reaches almost 40C.

Working under the sunshine at almost 40C, rescuers can break the concrete slabs with small pieces using metal drills and cutters. It’s a slow and very demanding task. When the crane lifts the concrete piece, the rotten body odor is already quite strong.

Rescue crews find four or five bodies, but it still takes several hours to take out the first body.

In the compound of the Academy, it is a family of students who sit on a mat under a temporary tent. Their faces are tired and discouraged. As soon as they recover the body, they turn around the ambulance around the ambulance.

U thuzana (29) was tested at the Buddhist Academy when an earthquake occurred.

Others gather around the rescuers who show their photos on their mobile phones.

It is a painful moment when the family tries to make sure that the dead person loves.

However, the body is too deformed, so it is impossible to work. To check the identity, it is sent to the spirit room where you have to do a forensic test.

Among the families is the father of 29 -year -old U thuzana. He has no hope that his son has survived. U HLA AUNG said, “It is impossible and full of sadness when you know that my son is over.”

MAHA MUNI PAGODA is one of the symbolic places of the damaged city.

Many of the historical historical sites of Mandalay have suffered significant damage, including Mandalay Palace and the Mach Mouni Tower, but we could not see the degree of damage.

The approach to everything, such as the site, the victim, and the family, was not easy because of the oppressive environment created by the military Junta, and people often feared to talk with journalists.

Near Pagoda, we saw that Buddhist funeral consciousness was held outside the destroyed house. It was the hometown of U HLA AUNG KHAING and his wife Daw Mamarhtay in the 60s.

“I lived with them, but I went out when the earthquake came. So I survived. My parents disappeared at a moment,” the son told us.

People gather only the couple’s house in the 60s.

Their bodies were expelled by local residents who used rudimentary equipment, not trained rescuers. It took two days to take out a couple who found their arms around each other.

Myanmar’s military government has been killed 2,886 people so far, but has not yet reached many collapse places by the authorities. We may never know what the actual death of an earthquake is.

Mandalay’s parks and open spaces have been changed to temporary camps, just as there are moat banks running around the palace. Throughout the city, we saw people placing mats and mattresses outside the house over dinner.

Mandalay is a city in terror, and there is a good reason. There was a big aftershock almost every night from Friday. We woke up 5 times in the middle of the night.

However, tens of thousands of people are sleeping outdoors because there are no homes to return.

Daw KHin said, “When the earthquake bumps, my heart is still trembling when I think of that moment.” We ran away, but my house disappeared. I live under the tree. Come and see. “

She says that she is a washing machine woman and she is suffering from disabilities that her son cannot work.

“Where are you going to live now? I’m having a lot of difficulties. I live next to the dump dump. Some people gave me some rice and clothes.

“We have no one to rescue us. Help us.”

Another elderly woman shed tears and shed tears. “No one has distributed food yet.

Daw Khin saw MyINT (72 years old) and her granddaughter is thousands of people sleeping outdoors after losing home.

Most of the vehicles that were pulled to deploy supplies were a small van with limited donations from individuals or small fat tissues. The number of people who need help is not enough, so you can get all the slogans that can be relieved.

Some of the major hospitals in Mandalay have been damaged, so in a difficult situation, strings and strings are placed in the hospital compound for patients.

Shwe Gy Thun Phyo (14 years old) suffered from brain damage and WHO. She is conscious but does not respond. Her father tries to make it as comfortable as possible.

There were few doctors and nurses to cope with the demand for treatment. In other words, the family is trying to do what the medical staff needs to do.

Zar Zar has expanded its stomach due to serious abdominal injuries. Her daughter sat behind her, grabbed her and gave her some slogans in the heat.

We could not spend much time in the hospital because of the fear of the arrest of the police or the army.

Because of the lack of medical staff, relatives are trying to help loved ones who are injured in a temporary hospital.

As the windows looking for the survivors of the earthquake narrowed, the people who came to the hospital died more and more.

Nan Sin Hein, who is waiting outside the collapsed building where his son is trapped, was initially dull, but now he seems to be preparing to face the most likely results.

“I’m a heart. My son loved me and his sisters. He struggled to support us,” she says.

“I want to see my son’s face even if my son dies. I want to see his body. I want them to do their best to find his body.”
