Greenland politicians have criticized their plans for visiting the United States due to the threat of occupying President Donald Trump’s island.
The second Lady usha Vance will be cultural this week, and is expected to travel separately from Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
Naga said that the Mute EGEDE described this plan as aggressive and the duo was not invited to meetings. Meanwhile, the next leader of the island is likely to have accused the United States that the United States has shown a lack of respect.
Greenland, the world’s largest island between the Arctic and the Atlantic Ocean, was controlled by Denmark, which is almost 3,000 km (1,860 miles) for about 300 years.
It dominates its own domestic problems, but Copenhagen decides on foreign and defense policies. The United States has long maintained security profits and has a military basis on the island after World War II.
Trump is interested in the rare earth minerals on the island. His son Donald JR visited Greenland before Trump took office in January.
The White House, who announced his visit to Mrs. Vance, said the second woman visited the historic site and said that the national dog of Greenland would attend the slash Avannaata Qimussersu.
Her delegation, including her son, would be “to celebrate Green Land culture and unity.”
Waltz’s trip was confirmed by sources that talked with the BBC’s US partner CBS News. According to the New York Times, he is expected to visit the Vance and travel with the energy secretary Chris Light.
The outgoing PM EGEDE explained the visit of Waltz as a provocation. “What is the security advisor in Greenland? The only purpose is to show us demonstration of power,” he told the Sermitsiaq newspaper.
In relation to the same paper, Greenland’s Daum PM Jens-Frederik Nielsen accused the US officials for lack of respect for the local population.
Trump seemed to expand the campaign to occupy the island while talking to NATO Secretary -General Mark Rutte earlier this month.
Greenland has already defended Trump’s acquisition story, but he sent a more shocking shock wave by requesting Denmark to take the island, supporting NATO, a part of its military alliance.
Trump said, “Mark, we need for international security.” We will talk to you. “
Trump said, “I think that will happen.”
This action has made a common statement to criticize the US president’s “unleashed behavior.”
This problem has been in the central stage in the recent election, and in the meantime, EGEDE’s Inuit Inuit AtatTIT Party has been defeated by the Democratic Party of Nielsen, which prefers a gradual approach to Denmark’s independence.
Earlier this month, in a speech with the US Congress, Trump said that the Greenlands strongly supported the right to determine their future. “If you choose, we welcome you to the United States.”
According to a recent poll, almost 80%of Green Randers has regained independence in Denmark. However, according to a January survey, the idea that the number of more numbers would be part of the United States.
