The United States Supreme Court ordered a new trial for Richard Glassb, a man of Oklahoma at the time of death.

The court ruled 5-3 in favor of Glossip, unlike the Oklahoma court ruling of the criminal appeal.

The move comes after the state prosecutor joined Glossip in calling for a new trial.

Glossip, 62, was convicted of the 1997 killing of Malm Motel Oklahoma City where he was working. Nine death dates have been postponed, and “last meal” was eaten three times.

Judge Sonia Sotomoor wrote in the opinion of Tuesday to the court: “We conclude that the prosecution violated its constitutional commitment to correct the wrong certificate.”

She joined the rule of liberal judges Elena Kagan and Kitanji Brown Jackson. Brett Cavano and Judge John Roberts, both of them conservatives, joined the opinion.

Judge Amy Kony Barrett, another governor, agreed to the opinion, but she said that she would send the case to more procedures.

Judge Neil Jorman did not join the case.

Donnite, Glossip’s lawyer, described the ruling as “a victory for justice and fairness in our judicial system.”

Defense lawyer said Glossip will be given the opportunity to conduct a fair trial, “It has always been rejected.”

It will be up to Oclahoma’s prosecutors to determine how to follow up on his case.

Glossip kept his innocence for 27 years.

His boss, Barry Van Trez, the best budget budget in Oklahoma City, was hit to death by Besoppol in 1997.

Glossip’s colleague, Gustin Sinide, was killed, but he said Glossip told him that he would be killed.

Sneed confessed to death, but he managed to evade death by accepting a guilt that involves the certificate that Glossip paid him to $ 10,000 to do so.

Glossip admitted to the help of Sneed to cover up the killing after it happened, but he denied knowing any plan to kill Van Treese.

It has since appeared that the prosecutors had not revealed that Sneed, a metamphine addict, has been treated for a serious psychological state.

Judge Sotomior wrote: “If the prosecution would correct a bond on the platform, his credibility would be clearly suffering.”

“This correction had revealed the jury not only that Sinid was not trustworthy … but also that Sneed was ready to lie to them under the oath.”

Glossip was first condemned in 1998, but this was canceled in 2001. He was condemned again after three years.

In 2015, a few steps away from the death room, his execution was stopped to review deadly injection drugs.

In 2023, the Supreme Court intervened after the Prosecutor in Oklahoma and Glossip requested a new trial.

A number of big names supported Glossip’s efforts in the past including Pope Francis, Kim Kardashian and Sir Richard Branson.
