CEO Boeing Kelly Ortberg On Wednesday, he said he would work on protecting the rotation of the aerospace giant from the impact of the trade war between the United States and trading partners, especially in China.

“I don’t think the day goes to where we do not participate with someone in the administration, including … the secretaries of the cabinet and the Potus itself,” Ortberg said with reference to the president Donald Trump.

In Comments on CNBCOrtberg said China had sent two of the three planes in the country that were ready for delivery because the Chinese government stopped taking these aircraft from a trade dispute. This year, Boeing send approximately 50 planes to China, but Ortberg said the company would be “rather pragmatic” about how it approaches sales to China during the dispute.
“For those aircraft that have not yet been built, we will seek them to redirect them to other customers,” Ortberg said. “For built aircraft, we call it a remarket. There are many customers looking for Max planes.”
