Atlanta Braves attacker Jurickson Profar On Monday, he received a suspension of 80 matches for drug use.
Baseball Major League announced that Profar had a positively tested by Corior Gonadotrophin (HCG), violating a joint program of drug prevention and treatment.
The Profar Suspension takes effect immediately. They will be entitled to return on June 29, forbidding any delay.
Profar hit the lead and started in the left ground in all four games of Braves’ series against the “series” against San Diego Padres. He left 3-for-15 on the plate and scored two driving. Atlanta lost all four games to Hosting Padres.
Profar, 32, signed a three-year contract, worth $ 42 million with Atlanta, during the last season, after the 2024 season in which he first appeared his first appearance in All-Star. Before arriving in Atlanta, he had two separate in San Diego from 2020-2022 and 2023-2024. He played 111 games for Colorado Rockies 2023 before the team released him and Padres collected him.
During his 12-year career, Profar has an average of .245. He comes out of the season in which he has published his best careers in home runs (24) and running into (85).
Profar’s suspension is a blow to Braves because they started the season without a right player Ronald Acuna Jr., who was recovering from a ten-day or a torn ACL, which he held in May last season. Handyman Bryan de la Cruz Will will probably fill in for Profar, and Braves will have to find a new guidance until Acuna can return.
