Angel Reese and Chicago Sky will play the role of the Brazilian national team in the Wnba Preseason game in LSU.
Sky announced the exhibition on Friday and will play on May 2 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Ris, the Wnba All-Star team, played two LSU seasons and led the Tigers to the first NCAA championship in 2023.
“I am very excited because the sky will play the pre -season game in LSU,” Reese said. “It will be surprising to return to Patton Rouge, a society that means a lot to me. LSU was effective in preparing me for WNBA and I cannot wait to hit the stadium in front of both the tigers and the shoes of the sky!”
LSU coach Kim Molki said they are excited to host the WNBA game with Reese and the sky. Rice SEC led the scoring and apostasy in LSU, becoming the first player since Windy Schultins from Vanderbilt (1989-1990) to lead the league in both statistics in successive seasons.
“Angel has played a major role in creating our LSU program and I know our fans will be excited to return them in PMAC.” “She had such a wonderful rising season, and we could not wait to continue watching her thrive in Wnba.”
Sky Kamilla Cardoso teammate will play against the Brazilian national team for the first time. Born in Brazil, Brazil, played for her country in the Fiba Qualifiers for the year 2024, which was reaching a berth in the Paris Olympics last year.
The sky opens the regular Wnba season on May 17 against Indiana fever.
