Kenya's Tatu City: A private urban oasis sparks controversy


Tatu City is designed to attract investments and provide modern infrastructure that lack public services by developing private production and management cities near Nairobi. The company, operated by Rendeavour, has hosted 25,000 residents and workers, leading Kenya’s foreign investment. However, it was promoted as a model of the future city of Africa, but has caused criticism of transparency, inequality and continuous legal and financial debate.
