Wildlife trafficking is one of the most profitable crimes in the world after drug trafficking, human trafficking and weapons smuggling. At the end of last year, international operations found 20,000 living wild animals, including reptiles, cats, turtles and monkeys. About 365 people were arrested for six illegal networks. In France, the French authorities recently discovered a cat in a crisis that is far from natural habitats in Paris apartments. Some of them are currently taking care of the animal shelter in the Nogent-Le-Phaye, south of Paris.
