In the special edition, we focus on Syria, a country that comes from cruel dictatorship for decades. The temporary leader of this country, Ahmed Al-Shara, signed a Constitutional Declaration and presented the freedom of rights and expression of women. His Islamic-centered rebels broke down the Basha Le Al-Assad government in December. But as we have recently seen as a recent assad’s colleague, as we have seen recently, sectarian violence is still threatening to separate the country. We report that their new freedom can be threatened by the injury of religious compliance. Annette Young also talks with Mariam Jalabi, co -founder of the Syrian Women’s Political Movement. This is an umbrella organization to represent women in all communities and settle in the table.
