Israel sent tanks to the city of Jenin in the West Bank on Sunday in the first attack in the region in more than two decades. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the forces will remain in parts of the region for a year, and that tens of thousands of residents who fled will not be allowed to return.
