Decades of progress and challenge

It also pointed out a significant reduction in costs in the storage of wind, solar and battery, making them the cheapest sources of new electricity in many markets.
Economic case for climate action
Ms. Mohammed emphasized the financial influence of climate disasters, which caused $ 320 billion around the world last year.

“Renewable renovation for 92.5 percent of all new energy capacities were added globally last year, and the pure force has been surpassed by 40 percent of global electricity generation,” she noticed.
