Donald Trump’s decision to impose extensive tariffs on the US trades – including close security allies – caused a harassment to find ways to place Washington in a short window before radical measures came into force.

Executive order of the US President on tariffs Extended olive ward for countries taking “significant steps” to remedy trading surplus and refer to taxes, regulatory and licensed practices that are considered unfair.

But in the capitals less than a week to take a walk. Trump said on Wednesday that higher so -called “mutual” tariff rates will be applied from April 9, after its main tariff in 10 percent of almost all countries will come into force on April 5.

Important data in the Trump Sky, including his son Eric in the post social mediaencouraged the nation to offer US concessions. “I wouldn’t like to be the last country that is trying to negotiate a trading deal @Realdonaldtrump“,” he said on X.

About 60 countries running the largest trade surplus from the US – including key strategic allies such as the EU, Japan and South Korea – face additional tariffs above 10 percent, some prolongated up to 50 percent or more.

Few of them switched to revenge. In an attempt to reduce the 20 percent tariff, the EU is instead ready to reduce the $ 235.6 billion excess trade in 2024, buying more US goods and reducing some tariffs.

Brussels suggested giving up the tariffs for the car by 10 percent to the level of Washington by 2.5 percent, stated that officials had informed about the negotiations. It can also increase energy purchases, buy more American weapons or join us against the ejection of Chinese products.

EU representatives believe that the stock market is falling, and the prospect of raising inflation will push the United States to negotiate. On Friday, Maroish šefchovich, BLOC Trade Commissioner, will talk to American colleagues on Friday.

However, both sides have significant differences: the EU has rejected the United States, claiming that tax systems are discriminated against by US companies, and eliminates compromise on food safety and foods, such as American chicken.

“Despite any negotiations, we do not reduce our standards,” said a high -ranking EU official. “We don’t discriminate anyone.”

Trump’s global tariffs that have sharply directed the markets were introduced, despite the fascinating offensives from Japan to Israel, who sought to avoid allegations with walking aimed at securing the president.

During the day ahead of Trump’s announcement, Israel has abandoned the rest of the US import tariffs – only to still suffer with a rate of 17 percent of the largest trading partner.

Japan, meanwhile, has promised to increase the import of liquefied natural gas from the US and invest in a planned gas pipeline in Alaska, and has hinted that plans for increasing cost protection will land with US contractors. Trump was also able to announce an investment package in artificial intelligence infrastructure of $ 500 billion, which in Japan Softbank was from Spearhead.

None of this thought: Japan suffered from a 24 percent tariff, despite being an important US security partner in the region.

Japanese officials said the failure of these proposals caused whether it will receive additional bright – potentially, including more shopping and corporate investments – will give results. A high government official stated that it was no longer clear whether Trump could be bought with trade concessions, as in the first term.

“If, as it seems possible, it wants to change the character of global trade and use tariffs to reduce taxes in the US, it is unclear that there is something that Japan or Japanese companies can offer it,” they said.

South Korea, which lasted in the intersection of Trump with its permanent surplus in the United States – a record $ 55 billion last year – faces a long list of US trade complaints, including restrictive emission rules, opaque pharmaceuticals, refusal to import US large and network fee.

Analysts note that Seoul can buy more weapons of the SPG and the US, adding that there was some lever in the country because its companies provide a single viable alternative to Chinese competitors in key strategic sectors, such as shipbuilding and semiconductors.

“There are certain strategic industries where the United States will not be able to isolate itself from global supplies chain,” said Tom Ramaj, an analyst at the Korean Economic Institute of America.

Acting South Korean President Khan Dak-S said that the government would make “universal efforts” to minimize the loss of Korean business from the planned tariffs for 26 percent.

Other smaller Southeast Asian countries, which have slaughtered significant tariffs, such as Vietnam and Cambodia, have less obvious points of impact, although they provide large volumes of manufactured products in the United States, including clothing, shoes and white goods.

Vietnam, which has become a production power plant in recent years, when companies have moved production from China, is facing one of the highest tariffs by 46 percent.

This came, despite its proposals for reducing tariffs for American products and buy more Boeing, SPG and agricultural planes. Last month, Vietnam made concessions to allow Trump Elan Elon Maskus to promote his satellite Internet service Starlink in the country.

India also sought to prevent the US leader preventively, putting concessions on goods, including bourbon, motorcycles, luxury machines and solar panels.

When the Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the White House last month, both countries stated that they were opening talks on a trading transaction – a development that was clearly related to the mutual threat of Trump’s tariffs – and aimed at agreeing to the first tranche.

This week the country suffered 27 percent tariff. The Modi government claimed that it was still aimed at making progress in the US trade agreement in the coming days. Like in Europe, in New Delhi, it is expected not to open its agricultural markets, fearing the political reaction from farmers.

In Latin America, two of the largest US regional trading partners – Brazil and Argentina, both fled with a minimum of 10 percent tariff.

Javier Miley, the Libertarian President of Argentina – is passionate about Trump’s ally, despite ideological differences in the field of free trade – he has repeatedly stated that he wants the US for free trade. He celebrated the relatively low tariff figure Buenos -Aires, saying that “friends would be friends” and share a reference to the song of this name of the Queen.

Milie hoped to meet Trump on Thursday in Mar-a-lago, where the Argentine would receive a prize from the Conservative Group, and his Foreign Minister Gerard Vertein was to meet with US Chairman Jamisan Grir.

South Africa, which was already in a diplomatic conflict with Trump over his positive actions, was another nation hoping for a deal. Last year, it exported $ 8.1 billion in the US, about half of which were critical minerals such as platinum used in cars.

Its punishment was 31 percent tariff, but President Kirill Ramaphos said the Trump’s step “claims (Ed) urgentness to agree on a new bilateral and mutually beneficial trade agreement.”

Donald Makei, Head of the XA World Trade Advisor department in South Africa, said small economies should find ways to avoid Trump’s confrontation.

“For example, hiking for minerals will damage the income from the mine and their employees,” he said. “There is little that smaller countries can do that they will not harm them more than the US.”
